Danube Art Company

The Company undertakes a significant role in preserving and saving the Hungarian cultural heritage for future generations. It promotes the preservation of the role of professional and traditional music and dance culture representing high artistic value and becoming a public asset. Initiator and participant of numerous national and international cultural collaborations, involving Hungarians across the border, representatives of European and distant cultures. It organizes cultural events and series of events with the presentation of dance, music and other arts. Every year, the Danube Carnival International Multicultural Festival is organized in Budapest, the purpose of which is to promote intercultural dialogue in addition to popularizing Hungarian dance artists on a European and world level. Assisting foreign guest performances of high-quality dance and music ensembles is involved.

Objectives of its activity:

- Taking a role in preserving and saving the Hungarian cultural heritage for future generations

- Preserving the role of professional and traditional music and dance culture as representing a high artistic value, promoting its becoming a public asset

- Cultural cooperation with Hungarian minorities across the border, representatives of European and distant cultures.

- Preservation and further development of the role of the Duna Művéségeyüttes as a representative of high artistic value in folk dance culture.

- Assisting foreign guest appearances by high-quality dance and music ensembles

- Presentation and familiarization of outstanding contemporary dance art at home and abroad

- Organization of cultural events, series of events, presentation of dance, music and other arts

- Organization of international multicultural exchanges

- Involvement in complex art teaching-educational work, replenishment education

- Planning, editing, publishing and distribution of publications

- Creation of the "Charity for Art" program

- Maintaining contact with civil organizations and international partner organizations.
