II. To the Hungarian Young Men
or Bloom Thou Art, the Youth of My Homeland
On the occasion of the Petőfi anniversary, our show evokes the
spirituality of the poems on revolution and love, the poet’s prevalent and current messages to the youth using dance, music and Petőfi’s lyrics as fabric.
The celebratory performance is not only a tribute to the memory of Sándor Petőfi, but also a merging of the thoughts addressed to the ever-awakening Hungarian soul in the spirit of timelessness and universality.
Joining the Duna Art Ensemble and the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble are renowned national dance groups and bands in bringing this artistic cooperation to life.
